Numerous programs have been initiated with the participating schools over the past years. Some of the Districts on-going involvement include; tree distribution and planting, presentation on fishery and wildlife issues, installing and marinating artificial nest structures, coloring contest and youth speaking

Various extension initiatives are promoted on an on going basis including numerous newspaper articles as well as radio and television coverage

The District is a member of many organizations from which to network, seed partnerships and new innovative ideas. The TRWCD also supports many community efforts by supplying various promotional items
