Tony Xie represents TRWCD at MCDA convention

In early October the Grade six class of the Ste Rose School contacted the district about doing a presentation to the class on what the district does.  The Manager attended the class and gave an overview of what the district does, how things get completed, and some of the problems with erosion.  The Manager then asked the class for help with a problem.  He stated every year the MCDA has a conference and we have little or no representation from the kids of the area, so the manager asked them if they would like to get involved and attend the conference.  The class was very excited and agreed to complete projects that would then be judged and a winner chosen to attend the conference

After a month of working on their projects the class asked the manager to come to the class and give them little hints on what to improve on.  After another week of preparation the time had com to pick a winner; the Manager, Admin. Assistant and Provincial Appointee attended the school and Tony and his project Dynamics of a River was chosen the winner.

All the projects were excellent with a lot of hard work and detail put in.  The Grade 6 class should be commended for a job well done.  Once again great job and congratulations Tony.
