Forage Seed Assistance

The purpose of this program is to assist landowners in seeding down erodable lands into forages and pasture  and therefore increase the productivity of said lands. Landowners are responsible for submitting their application by March 1st of said year and once applications are approved, purchasing their seed  from the supplier of their choice and forwarding the invoice for reimbursement by June 30th of said year. Landowners are eligible every second year for a maximum of 25 acres. The district will provide assistance of 25% of seed costs up to a maximum $250.00 per qualifying landowner.
